11 December, International mountain day, ‘Mountains matter for Youth’.
The Metsovio Interdisciplinary Research Center (MIRC) of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) is the first educational institute in Greece specialized in mountain regions. For 12 years, we study the mountain areas in Greece through an interdisciplinary approach and we prepare young scientists with knowledge and experiences to understand and provide solutions for the many issues that the people of these areas are confronted with.
Applications call for the 2nd stream of the MSc "Environment and Development" of the National Technical University of Athens, "Environment and Development of Mountain Regions" for the academic year 2017-2018.
Monday and Thursday (3-4 April 2017) traditional architecture and integration of current lifestyle.
